At It Again!

Many of you saw my recent article in Woman's Day Magazine, "Kitchen Remix"... well, I am at it again!  A new client of mine recently purchased a home, and though they loved it, the kitchen was nothing to write home about.   The bones were all there,  but it definitely needed some updating.  The first order of business was choosing a paint color and finish.   I often find color inspiration by looking through bins of fabrics, and low and behold, we fell in love with a gingham sheer from Rose Tarlow.  I knew immediately the gorgeous blue/green in it would be stunning on the cabinets.  As we speak, the cabinets are being painted Oval Room Blue by Farrow & Ball, with a matte finish.  To compliment the cabinets, we replaced the counter top with soap stone and used a 3 x 6 tumbled marble as the back splash.
