Spring 2017 Storefront

2017 started with a bang!  I cannot believe that here we are in June already.  When we last chatted about our storefront, I shared with you the inspiration board for our Spring floor.  We set out to play on contrast: light and dark, soft and structured, antique and modern.  So now, let me catch you up on how floor took shape.

On the north wall, we hung a series of modern pen and ink drawings over a nineteenth century, oak secretary.  Atop desk sits a pair of deco, marble and copper, lamps., under the gaze of an ornate, eighteenth century wooden spire, perched upon a bespoke,  quartzite pedestal.

Meanwhile, Spring was sprung on the South wall, with the soft blush tones of our antique Italian settee and the Petal, the large scale floral paitning we brought back with us on our last trip to Paris.

Greeting guests as they enter the space is our rustic stone table, flanked by antique chairs, upholstered in soft, creamy moiree.  A modern, geometric oil panting hangs beautifully above the custom marble and wood-milled mantle.

And just like that, as Spring gives way to summer, many of our spring pieces have found there forever home, making way for our new summer floor.  Below is a sneak peek of what's to come.  Come back soon for the full reveal!
